holy crap, digital painting! i've been wanting to try this for a very long time. im going to post a detail pic in my scraps once this loads. omg, i love my tablet 
. this picture was inspired by 
when she said that my character Taevi would make a cute faun. and since i wanted to draw Taevi and do fanart for CoN at the same time, this is what came out. ^_^ this is atleast 10 hours of work. and i really tried on the background... im not used to them yet. 
so yeah, this is Taevi as Mr. Tumnus, hence the title.

I think if you paint the two blue trees more like the front trees, only a bit blue-green, it would already give more depth ,because those trees are not that far away that they already would seem blue (if you comprehend what I mean, sorry for the bad english...)
But I'm truly amazed that you did al this without reference!
