this is a commission for , er.. 1 of 3 rather. i hope you like it, Rinky! ^_^
all i had to go on with this was a written description and NO IT'S NOT AMIEL XD. he just looks kinda like him. this was the description i had to go on :
"An unusual 5'9'' for an elf; Athletic in body frame with narrow, but blunted features. Luce has blond hair that is naturally streaked with red that just brushes the tops of his shoulders and very light grey eyes. His pupils are also a lightened grey due to a traumatic incident in his youth where he was blinded. A thin, whitish-pink scar travels from just above his left brow, bisects his eyebrow and continues on over his cheek, ending about mid-cheek. His musular chest and arms are covered in criss-crossing scars from deep knife wounds - not that you would usually see them.
Luce typically wears black leather pants with a similarily black cotton sleeveless top; this is usually covered by a large, worn, brown leather overcoat no longer capable of closing in the front. His ensemble is completed by a pair of black leather chopper boots. His weapons never far from his hands, Luce is almost always seen with a dagger strapped to his left thigh and an old katana buckled to his hip."
this is what came out, after Rinky telling me his hair was kind of like Amiel's and the streaks were an irish red. im kinda proud of myself ^_^.
That's awesome. Very cool... very shiny color job. I dig it. His description sort of reminds me of something out of Holly Black's novels.

You see children know such a lot now, they soon don't believe in fairies, and every time a child says, 'I don't believe in fairies,' there is a fairy somewhere that falls down dead.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
